Aging & Disability Resource Center

The Green County Aging & Disability Resource Center provides information on services, resources and benefits regarding older adults, people with physical disabilities, people with developmental disabilities, their caregivers, friends and families. 

Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse Unit

The Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse Unit (AODA) provides intervention, assessment, diagnoses, treatment planning, education and therapeutic services to adolescents, adults, including the intoxicated driver, affected family members and others who are impacted by alcohol and/or drug abuse or addiction.

Mental Health Unit

The Mental Health Unit (MH) provides individual and family counseling on an outpatient basis as well as around the clock crisis intervention services.

Community Support Program

The Community Support Program (CSP) provides community based treatment to adults diagnosed with severe, chronic and persistent mental illness.  The program is designed to serve those adults with a history of recurring hospitalizations, major deficits in socialization and daily living skills and who do not respond well to traditional outpatient mental health services.

The Developmental Disabilities Unit

The Developmental Disabilities Unit (DD) provides a wide variety of community based services including residential, vocational, transportation, therapies, respite and advocacy to the developmentally disabled.

The Economic Support Unit

The Economic Support Unit (ES) serves low income individuals and families through a variety of programs including W-2, Medical Assistance, FoodShare, Healthy Start, Badgercare, Energy Assistance, W-2 Childcare, and Kinship.

The Children, Youth & Families Unit

The Children, Youth & Families Unit (CYF) is responsible for the investigation of all allegations of child abuse and neglect, recruiting and licensing foster homes, doing custody studies and step-parent adoption screens, completing dispositional reports for the court, arranging and supervising alternate living placements, doing day care certifications and supervising and providing support services to all youth under court jurisdiction in the county.

The Adult & Aging Unit

The Adult & Aging Unit (AA) provides a variety of community and home based services to adults and the elderly to enable them to live as independently as possible in the community.
