The Alcohol and Other Drug Unit provides
intervention, screening, assessment and treatment for individuals having abuse
or dependency problems. The unit
affords education, counseling and clinical services to the client, affected
family members and significant others. Therapeutic
services are rendered to adolescents and adults through individual, family,
couples and group sessions. The
unit furnishes the residents of Green County with a 24-Hour Emergency Services
program. Regular hours of operation are from 8:00 am until 5:00 pm
with some evening appointments available on Tuesdays. Appointments can be made by contacting the secretary at (608)
328-9352. Fees are based on ability
to pay and Medical Assistance, Medicare and most insurances are accepted.
