The Mental Health Unit provides individual,
family, group and marital counseling to residents of Green County. The program is state certified and is staffed by four full
time master degreed therapists and two part time psychiatrists.
The Mental Health Unit also maintains a state certified crisis on-call
service that is available by phone after hours.
Walk in services are also available during the day. Hours of operation are from 8:00 am until
5:00 pm and some evening appointments are available on a limited basis on
Tuesdays. Appointments can be made
by contacting the secretary at (608)328-9383.
Fees are based on ability to pay and Medicaid, Medicare and most
insurances are accepted.
